Taste them to enjoy them

by Lorenzo Mendoza | Dec 09, 2011
Whew, what a long month!

It seems November would not end due to a lot of things I need to do this month. All my six major projects need to be submitted before the end of this month or after the first week of next month.

Luckily, after pouring in everything possible to gain at least a pass though not discounting the possibility of getting credit or distinction, everything has been done. They may not be the best among them but I'm glad I've done them.

The first stage of my Diploma course is about to end and I am eager to start my second and final stage not only to finish it but to eventually go back to my country again and fulfil my contract of conducting training to school heads, teachers and students about the latest in information technology.

Coffee cups stacked on top of one another from various outlets

Along the way as I have been doing my major projects, I decided to reward myself with a variety of coffee available in coffee shops and fastfood chains. I'd like also to find out which is the best tasting among them. Now that I've tasted majority of the varieties of coffee from different shops, I have now an idea where to sip one when I would be caught by my urge to sip one. As to what it is, I'll just keep it to myself because I know different people have different opinion of what is a best tasting coffee. As the saying goes, "The taste of the pudding can be known by tasting it".

I live at the top of a fastfood chain so whenever am hungry during lunch or dinner, I would just grab one lunch or dinner combo and again choose variety of drinks available.

I see to it to walk either morning or afternoon, so I also grab a variety of drinking bottled water available in convenient stores or supermarkets.

I just love to experiment on the taste.

Water bottles from different companies

Speaking of eating out or ordering food to take out, after a year and a half of my stay here in Adelaide, foodcourts and restaurant staff members do not only recognize me but they would be the one to tell me the usual food I am ordering whenever I approach the counter. In different foodcourts in the city, they would perfectly tell my order complete with sauce and more rice. Instead of telling a kilometric order, I would just utter "YEP" or the other one if they could not guess.

In short, though I am living alone, I make use of the time to enjoy my stay here in Adelaide by just living my life here day by day. See how time flies. It was not too long ago that I started my schooling, now I have already done 3 quarters of my course and left with a quarter more to go.

Grow wherever you are. We need to adapt to our environment and merge with its people to enjoy our stay.

 Advance happy holidays everyone!
