Charges vary between courses and subjects and are based on a rate per hour. Concessions may be available to holders of certain government concession cards, and in some circumstances fees may be paid by instalment. A brochure detailing the refund of fees policy is available at each campus. Students are generally expected to purchase their own textbooks, personal equipment, uniforms and stationery.
In July 2012 the South Australian Government will be introducing the 'Skills For All' funding initiative. 'Skills For All' may impact the eligibility and fees for government funded vocational education and training in South Australia. As a direct result of this initiative, TAFE SA will reassess all student fees prior to Semester 2, 2012. This may result in some student fees decreasing whilst others may increase.
