Vocational education and training (VET) can be offered to students at your school in a number of different ways. VET can be undertaken for just a couple of hours a week or by a more formal VET program, such as an Australian School-Based Apprenticeship.
Regardless of how students participate in VET at school, they can:
- develop practical, industry specific skills
- develop an understanding of the world of work
- gain a nationally recognised qualification.
TAFE SA seeks to work with schools in a variety of ways to offer VET in schools and promote pathways to further training and employment, including VET in Schools Agreements as well as the options below.
