If you are a student at TAFE SA, you must abide by the provisions of the Copyright Act, 1968 (including the digital copyright amendments). You must not use TAFE SA equipment and facilities to infringe copyright by copying or communicating copyright information either in print or digitally, except for reasonable portions required for your research and study.
For study and research purposes, you are generally allowed to copy 10%, or one chapter of a book, or one article per issue of a journal. It may be possible to copy more in some circumstances. Contact the Learning Resource Centre on your campus for further information, or see the Copyright Council of Australia website.
