Studying a TAFE SA short course couldn't be easier with four simple ways to enrol. To guarantee a place, please ensure that you enrol before the start of the course. Many of the courses fill quickly so it is best to enrol early.

Telephone
Phone the number under the individual course listing, or the campus where the course is held. Please note that phone enrolment is only available to credit card holders (Mastercard, Visa or American Express). Concession enrolments are not available by telephone as proof of concession must be sighted by enrolment staff.
Post
Complete an enrolment form (available from campuses) and post to the campus where the course is held. Ensure that you have included your credit card details or a cheque or money order made payable to 'TAFE SA' and a copy of your concession card (if entitled to a concession fee).
In person
Come along to the relevant TAFE SA campus during normal business hours with your enrolment form, payment and concession card (if entitled to a concession fee).
Fax
Fax the enrolment form (available from campuses) with your credit card details to the campus where the course is held. If you are entitled to a concession fee, please also fax a copy of your eligible concession card.
Confirmation of enrolment
A receipt will be sent to you on enrolment along with confirmation of the course dates, times and location.
Cancellation of courses
If a course is cancelled due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances, the program area will notify you and you will receive a full refund or transfer to another class. Please do not purchase equipment without confirmation that your class will go ahead.
Refund policy
If you choose to withdraw from a class you will not be entitled to a refund of your fees. TAFE SA cannot accept responsibility for changes to your work commitments or personal circumstances.
Transfers
If you would like to transfer to another class, you must give at least five clear working days' notice before the course commences. Only one transfer is permitted and only within the same year. An administration fee of $20 will be charged on each individual transfer.
Fees
You will need to pay your fees on enrolment. In some cases, there will be extra costs associated with a course, such as consumables. For specific information about your course choice, please contact the campus where the course will be held.
Concessions
Concession is available for some classes if you have a:
- Pensioner Concession Card
- Health Care Card
- Veteran Affairs Card.
Check the individual course details to find out if concession is available. Concession card type, number and expiry date must be provided on enrolment. Concession status also applies to dependants of people in the above categories. Seniors Card holders are not eligible for concession.
Public holidays
Classes will not be held on a public holiday. If a public holiday falls during your course, it will be extended by one session or by arrangement with the lecturer.
