This section includes the course-specific details used to determine entry into TAFE SA courses. It provides a detailed interpretation of the selection process for prospective students.
If you meet the minimum entry requirements, you are eligible for entry to a course, but this does not guarantee you an offer of a place in the course. Where there are more eligible applicants than places available, all eligible applicants will be ranked on merit, according to the course selection criteria.
Generally, your general academic merit, related academic merit and other merit are assessed. Points are awarded for academic and non-academic merti as per the selection criteria for the course in order to establish a ranked list of applicants.
