General Academic Merit

General academic merit (GAM) may be based on:

  • senior secondary (SACE) academic results
  • Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) results
  • vocational education and training (VET) and other qualifications
  • TAFE SA Assessment of Basic Skills (TABS)
  • an audition.

The score for general academic merit is generated from your best relevant academic results. GAM is scored in the range of 0–20.
