Talk with us about tailoring training to the needs of your staff. In 2007 the Veterinary and Applied Science Centre (VASC) biosciences team are developing general and customised short courses for industry incorporating:

  • good laboratory practise
  • low level bioinformatics
  • molecular biology techniques such as:
    • PCR, including real-time/quantitative PCR
    • gel electrophoresis – agarose and polyacrylamide
    • site-directed mutagenesis
  • topical issues such as:
    • genetically manipulated organisms
    • stem cell technologies.

Training can be delivered as out of business hours sessions or weekend workshops. Some weekday training may also be available.

VASC continually strives to consolidate and foster links with industry to develop training partnership in:

  • microarray technology
  • proteomics
  • transgenics
  • high level bioinformatics
  • commercialisation and intellectual property.

The VASC biosciences team welcome any opportunity to talk with interested parties about their training needs or teaching support that can be provided. For further information, contact us.
