Sarah Georgeson is a TAFE SA graduate of the Certificate III in Hairdressing at the TAFE SA Tea Tree Gully Campus and is now a successful hairdresser at Orbe Salon in Norwood.

Sarah considers her time at TAFE SA to have been pivotal in helping her to develop a portfolio of editorial and fashion work.

Since working at Orbe, Sarah has had the chance to learn more about technical and business development, to work as a session stylist and to have her work published in hair and fashion magazines. She has also been a national WorldSkills Australia winner.

Most recently, Sarah has had the chance to perform the hair styling segment of the national Career Chick 'Ultimate Career and Image Makeover', which was won by Melissa Taylor from Victoria. Sarah will gain further exposure to her work through the Career Chick website and BURST magazine.

'The versatility that hairdressing offers me is constantly motivating me and enthusing me to succeed,' Sarah says. 'I love the satisfaction that comes with building up a client's confidence, as well as my own.'
