Wine Industry

Studying a TAFE SA wine industry course will prepare you for a career in the wine industry. Depending on the specialisation you choose, you will develop the skills and knowledge to cultivate and develop grape vines, to operate a vineyard, or to produce wine and regional food.

If you choose to study viticulture management, you will learn about:

  • managing machinery
  • Wine industry graduatepests, diseases and weeds that can affect vineyards
  • vineyard restructuring
  • planning a business
  • environmental impacts and performance.

If you choose to specialise in wine and food, your study will include:

  • food and wine grape production
  • basic winemaking
  • evaluating regional foods
  • sensory evaluating of wine and food
  • classic grape varieties.

Mount Barker
Naracoorte
Regency
