Renewable Energy

Studying a TAFE SA renewable energy course will give you a broad knowledge of solar electronic control systems, maximum power point trackers, solar panel connections and standalone battery technology. You will learn a variety of skills in the field of renewable energy, including:

  • Renewable energy facilitiessystem design and planning
  • supervision
  • installation
  • policy analysis and development
  • energy auditing.

Depending on the course you choose, you will cover a range of topics, which may include:

  • photovoltaics
  • Renewable energy facilitiessolar thermal systems
  • wind energy
  • micro hydro
  • standalone power systems
  • grid connected inverter systems
  • energy efficient building technologies
  • environmental issues.

Renewable energy courses are offered at Regency Campus. Regency has been providing renewable energy courses since 2002 to the general public as well as licensed electricians seeking Business Council of Sustainable Energy (BCSE) accreditation to carry out installation work.
