Do you want to help people and make a difference in their everyday lives? Nursing may be the career for you. The Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) will prepare you for a career as an enrolled nurse.

Enrolled nurses provide basic bedside care for their patients under the direction of registered nurses and doctors. Your duties may include:

• observing and measuring vital signs (taking temperatures and pulse rates)
• bathing and dressing patients
• assisting in wound care
• feeding and helping patients become mobile
• assisting patients with eating, drinking and showering.

During your study, you will be required to participate in two compulsory clinical placements of between four to six weeks to prepare you for the workplace.
