Studying a TAFE SA mental health course will prepare you for a career in this diverse and growing industry. As one in five Australians will experience a problem with mental health at some stage in their life, there is a high demand for trained workers who are committed to working with people.

If you are interested in working in this sector, once you have completed your study there will be many opportunities awaiting you in a variety of roles, including:

  • supervisors
  • program coordinators.

Your training will involve not only class based activities, but community participation and exposure to current models of service provision, with an emphasis on recovery and holistic care.
