Pre-Apprentice Studies

Studying a TAFE SA Certificate in vocational education studies will give you the foundation skills for a career in construction and will further your chances of beginning an apprenticeship once you have graduated. Vocational education studies are offered in:

  • construction
  • brick/blocklaying/tiling and plastering
  • furnishing
  • floor covering and finishing
  • painting and decorating
  • signwriting
  • plumbing.

Completing one of these courses may lead to a career as a bricklayer, carpenter, plumber or signwriter. Your study will involve practical experience in an industry context.
