Studying the Advanced Diploma of Photography (Commercial) will give you a wide knowledge base of photographic theory and practice and will prepare you for a diverse range of careers in the commercial photography or associated visual communication industries.
During the course you will learn to create photography for a variety of uses, including advertising, editorial, industrial and illustrative. You will have the opportunity to participate in real life projects preparing imagery for a range of clients, both commercial and domestic.
The course allows you the flexibility to specialise in one or more areas of photography. You will learn about a range of photographic work, including advertising, portraiture, still life, architechture and fashion, as well as broadening subjects to enrich your visual communication skills, such as the elements of graphic design, print media production, multimedia and digital video production. Business management is a core subject to prepare you to run your own successful photographic studio.

The Advanced Diploma of Photography (Commercial) is offered at the Croydon Campus.
