Have you always dreamt of a career in the music industry, whether it's behind the scenes or performing on the stage yourself? Studying a TAFE SA music course will give you the opportunity to pursue a career in the commercial music industry.
The courses will equip you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to:
- perform and/or produce contemporary music
- manage or work as an engineer in a recording studio
- work as a live technician in large venues or with touring production crews
- work as an operator or assistant in broadcast audio for television, film or radio
- provide sound production for multimedia products and audio visual industries.
Music courses are offered at the Noarlunga and Salisbury campuses with facilities that reflect industry standards. The music program at Salisbury boasts a Pro Tools High Definition recording studio, plus an auditorium for performance and band practice.
During your studies, you will learn a wide range of skills, including:
