Would you like to work in the lucrative film industry? Studying a TAFE SA entertainment technology course will give you the technical skills to create and produce media content. Once you have graduated you will have the chance to gain employment in a variety of areas, including film and television production, video production, special effects, computer animation, game production or mobile phone content.

Your study will involve a high level of practical hands on experience, which will give you real skills to pursue a career in this competitive industry. Depending on the course you choose, some of the skills you will cover may include:

  • production planning
  • Screen production studentdigital video production
  • post production practices
  • producing short films
  • producing news segments
  • producing television programs
  • character animation, rigging and rendering
  • managing a visual effects shoot
  • using industry standard 2D and 3D software and broadcast standard hardware.

Some short courses are also offered in this area if you would like to develop a specific skill.

TAFE SA entertainment techology courses are offered at Adelaide Centre for the ARTS and Tea Tree Gully Campus.
